Glorious Reversible Cables at Mason-Dixon Knitting

Very interesting HK project, which has me wondering how we could execute this on the knitting machine, and making it whip-up-able!

    I do hope you come down in favor of demonstrating different cables. I tried that reversible cable on two needles. It didn't go well. I'm hopeless at translating written directions to action.
