Sound Off

Hey, knitters, boss me around about what you'd like me to work on next.  I'd love to know what I'm doing is what people want and need.

  I could...

...produce a book full of new lace projects

...do a Knitleader course (and give some info about getting things to fit beautifully)

...do a baby book

or, maybe something else entirely!

  2. Hi Diana, I would love to learn more nitty-gritty basics about using a card reader, doing jacquard, intarsia - patterning kinds of things in general. My second choice would be a Knitleader course. Whatever you end up doing, I look forward to it eagerly. You have helped to propel my machine knitting to a whole new level.

  3. It would be fun if you could do a sort of request and share sort of thing. Someone makes a request of you on how to do something and you could answer, OR they can share and show you how to do something they know but maybe you don't... but I can't imagine what you might not already know about machine knitting.

  4. Diana, Please do a buttonhole band for a cardigan. I have 2 adult size cardigans that are finished except for the bands. I cannot get them right so the sweaters are currently banished to my UFO box. Please help me save them!! Thx Sheryl

  5. 1. Knitleader and FITTING! I would love a good class on tailoring clothing, using darts and short rowing.

  6. Knitleader please! I bought a knit contour from silver reed recently; even though it's a new product the instructions were written in very poorly translated English. Much of what I've figured out has been guess work.

  7. Please, please please, a knitleader course.
I've never used mine and I'm actually scared of it!

  8. Dearest Diana.

If you would make a few videos on fitting (jumpers, cardies etc...) it would be very much appreciated.

Also, as someone mentioned above, if you would make more samples on patterns and techniques to make such garments, such as jacquard, tuck/slip patterns, lace etc., this would be a great thing.

Your videos have really been a great inspiration and help. They have triggered some 30+ pairs of circular knit socks this spring and summer, and I am now attaching buttons to my 3rd cardigan.

  9. Wow! 30 pairs of socks and 3 cardigans. I'm impressed!

I'm doing knitleader & fitting, but I won't be moving fast as I have some special projects in my life just now. We are starting a Financial Peace class again at church, we're having some flooring done, and I'm getting ready for a seminar in November.
