Here's that hat from the pattern I just put up, shown in the bulky gauge, but with a different hat crown. Don't forget - I'm running a little contest - send pictures of how you fancied up this hat, and I'll pick a few winners to get MKish prizes.
I have shaped the crown with a garter bar. You can do this if you're going for a really beautiful, smooth top. This is wonderful garter bar practice!
