Quaker stitch baby booties are very popular with hand knitters. The "corrugated" Quaker stitch stretches vertically for a wonderful fit & room to grow! Look at these:

Perhaps a tutorial on how to do quaker stitch for people that don't have, can't have, and can't afford DAK?
ReplyDeleteQuaker stitch is done with a garter bar. It's like garter stitch, only you flip after several rows - maybe 6 rows.
