It's hard to put up a bunch of photos on Blogger, so here are the photos of the edgings in the new book. I'll put the information about the book up in the next post.
Dear Diana, I would just like to say that I think you are such a wonderful person to share all of your wonderful knowledge. I am fairly new to KM and most of what I have learned about this wonderful hobby, I have learned from you. I've just ordered Enchanted Edgings and look forward to it. Many Thanks, Jeanne
The edgings are for Brother machines, punch card and electronic. If you have one of the Brother 910 machines, you could draw the patterns on the sheet. These machines are many years out of production and I do not have access to mylar sheets or sell them.
I believe the punch card versions of the patterns would work with a Toyota, but you do have to flip them over, as I recall. However, no guarantees - I have not tested them on a Toyota 901.
I purchased your enchanted edging but my machine is not reading the Mylar sheets properly do you sell the Mylar sheets with the patterns printed on them please help me thanks Shikha
Hello Diana!!We are interested in your products, formations, lessons, DVDs and so on, but we need to ask you few questions...Since we work on Singer machine(SK 700 and Memomatic 327), will we be able to apply your teachings on our knitting machines??? Plus is your lesson on automatic lace edgings can be applied on our machines?? And finally is a 4.5 is a midgauge knitting machine?? Thank you very much. Indïa and Jean
None of these lace edgings work on SK700, which is produced by Silver Reed. It does wonderful lace, but engineered completely differently and this technique does not work on it.
The other books will work on most machines, but the detailed videos are all filmed on Brother machines. You'd have to adept with the Silver Reed to transfer it.
I'm an avid machine knitter. I was the first YouTube creator to upload free machine knitting lessons. My goal was to get people to see these wonderful machines in action, Consider joining my Facebook group, “Knitting with Diana Sullivan,” where 9,000 members share their projects, ideas, and questions on just one topic: knitting! This is a happy, accepting place to share your MK challenges and projects.
I offer classes and patterns that make knitting easier and more fun, with key techniques shown, plenty of color photos, clear unabbreviated language, meticulous finishing techniques, and inventive solutions for better results.
I'm a retired CPA. My husband John and I will be married 50 years on December 21, 2024, and we live in in Austin, Texas. We have two adult sons and a beautiful daughter-in-law. John collects and fixes antique motorcycles, and also has a Model A.

DeleteHi Diana,
ReplyDeleteI have a Toyota 901 with a ribber. Would I be able to knit these edges with a Toyota, or is it something only Brother knitting machine can do?

4.5 mm is a standard gauge machine.
