New Crib-Sized Afghan

In honor of our political season, I guess I'll call this stitch "waffles and wriggles."

Done on the Brother in a 2/12 acrylic.

  3. That's a 2/12. It really is warm and thick. It's more waffle-ish than the photo, and if it were blocked out sideways I could get some real width.

It's like this: (T - tuck; K - knit) End needles on ribber, 1 x 1 ribbing is needle setup

    T T T T T K K K K K Main Bed Row 1
    K K K K K K K K K K K Ribber Row 1

  4. That comment didn't lay out right - you need a space before the first main bed stitch, 'cause it's 1x1 rib with the end needles on the ribber.

  5. Hi Diana, Will you be doing a Project Video of the baby blanket? I would love to be able to make it as we have two babies due in March. Love your videos, thank you very much for all the information you are sharing. I am a regular visitor to your site.

  6. I have plans for a little video (it's not going to be lengthy) and maybe for a book of similar items. I also need my next article for Country Knitting of Maine and think I'll do some sort of ribber baby blanket.

This is the right size for a lap robe, if you need to do some of those for a nursing home!
